The Illustrated Poem 'Monsters Love Hugs'

…I was observing 5 year olds for a few weeks at a school, in a classroom environment. The children were divine little souls and I had the most magical time with them. One little soul, called David L.,  in particular, was especially delightful, and I based this poem on him. It was first published in a book of poems without the illustrations. The illustrations came later.
