Most of my work begins in thumbnail sketches in pencil, which helps with the development and broadening of ideas until the drawings are clear and the messages are precise. Then, I ink up in either dipping pen and or, pigment markers as it gives character and textures that, I hope speaks volumes. But, there are some artworks that need to be created digitally, and either way both methods can be finished via watercolours and mixed media, or rendered digitally. Whichever direction the artwork goes in, when finished, it needs to be bright, fun, and tell a story and capture the intended audience as I may only have a second to do so.
