The 'About Page' Picture of Ritchie

On the ‘About’ page there is a picture of Ritchie the Macaw. What the ‘About’ picture doesn’t show you is what he is gripping. Ritchie loves nothing more than to be up an apple tree, during the ripening period, picking his own apples. As you can imagine he doesn’t know not to bite one apple and finish it, no instead, he takes one bite then drops it, and moves on to the next one. A very wasteful bird. Never stand directly below Ritchie because being ‘donked’ from a great height is most unpleasant. The hens have learnt to run as soon as there is a whisper of something falling, but they then, very quickly, do an about turn, to demolish the fallen apples. I am pretty sure he just likes to watch the chaos he causes beneath him when he drops something heavy. Oh, and another good reason not to stand beneath Ritchie, is that, during the ‘apple eating process’ he does very large, and loose poops. And to wear one of those will either start a fashion trend, or get you talked about for a very long time.
